Completely Custom:
This is the most personalized service available, which
requires multiple appointments. We
begin with a consultation of the style, design concept and proportion followed by a measurement session taking a series of measurements. For the measurements taken a pattern will be drafted and a muslin gown will be developed. This step is required to assure the style and fit of your actual gown.
Made-to-Measure:
No appointments are necessary, since you provide all
the measurements. I will make a muslin for you to have
fitted and returned to me, from which I make the final garment and ship
it to you. There are no fittings for made-to-measure, and the fit is
not guaranteed, but you will be able to get a proper fit with some
alterations. Made-to-Measure projects are paid in full before any
work is done. There will be absolutely no refunds.
Straight-from-the-pattern:
The most economical service available. No
consultations or pattern adjustments - you simply send me a “kit” with
all the materials, including the notions (thread, interfacing, zipper,
buttons, etc.) along with the pattern with the size you’d like to have made circled, and it, will be sent to you
the completed. This service is
suggested for clients providing a
pattern they know already fits well. A familiarity with fabrics also
helps provide a garment with the appropriate drape and flow. All
straight-from-the-pattern work are paid in full before any work is done. Again there will be absolutely no refunds.
